The Lehtonen type of goaltender

One day, and soon, the Kings are going to have a goaltending reason to celebrate: Kari Lehtonen, a 22-year old 'tending phenom from Finland, has just signed a bargain-deal with the Atlanta Thrashers.

With the depth and skill level we do have in the minors and at the university, we should be able to see some of the top- and middle-tier prospects pan out. While we might not be able to hang on to all of the likes of Jonathan Bernier, Ryan Munce, Yotaka Fukufuji or David Taylor, I'm looking forward to see them develop in the upcoming season. If any of them, at any level this year, shows the poise that brought Lehtonen up to where he currently is (NHL starter), they'd be bound for success.
